Availability: Downstream Connectors are generally available and on for every DefectDojo Pro instance, both Cloud and On-Premise. There is nothing to enable, and they are no longer listed on the Feature Flags page.

This page documents the legacy Jira integration. The per-Asset Jira integration described here has been superseded by the Jira Downstream Connector, which is generally available on every DefectDojo Pro instance and is the recommended way to push Findings to Jira. In the Pro sidebar, Connect > Jira carries a LEGACY badge for this reason — see Menu Badges.

Here are some common issues with the Jira integration, and ways to address them.

I can’t find any Jira settings in DefectDojo

If there is no Jira menu in the sidebar, no Jira section on the Asset / Engagement forms, and no Push to Jira option on Findings, the Jira integration is most likely still disabled in System Settings. DefectDojo hides every Jira control until it is turned on.
